Strong Academics & School Environment
As an engaged parent of a first grader and a PTO volunteer, I see the dedication of our teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff firsthand. My top priority is ensuring our schools are places of academic excellence and safety. That means supporting effective teaching and making sure every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn in a positive environment. Just as every child deserves results from our schools, every taxpayer does too.
Fiscal Responsiblity & Accountability
Being a great school system also means being fiscally responsible to all residents. My 20 years of leadership in healthcare proves my ability to find efficiency and manage resources. My family’s deep investment in our schools shows I will never compromise on our children’s education. That’s why I was heavily involved in the successful revision of this past year’s school budget and why I actively attend every Board meeting.
As an Unaffiliated candidate, I will bring transparency and accountability to the Board. Every dollar of your tax money must be a smart investment that leads to results for our children and strengthens our entire town.
The Future of our Schools & Town
We can have both strong academics and fiscal responsibility. My 20 years of leadership demonstrates my ability to find efficiency and manage resources. My family’s decision to move to New Hartford for its schools proves I will never compromise on our children's education, and my experience shows I understand the critical importance of maintaining class sizes.
As a volunteer for the Joint Task Force, I am committed to leading a data-driven process. We must explore creative financial solutions—like leveraging grant funding and expiring town bonds—to find the right, long-term infrastructure plan for all stakeholders.
My focus will be finding a path that enhances the quality of education while delivering fiscal stability to every resident of New Hartford.

Action: Improving communication and demanding accountability across the Boards of Education, Finance, and Selectmen to ensure all decisions are made in the best long-term interest of New Hartford regardless of partisan politics.
Prioritizing Our Educators
Action: Supporting our talented teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff with the tools, resources, and professional autonomy they need to deliver high-quality, effective instruction and ensure strong staff retention.
Active & Inclusive Community Engagement
Action: Bringing all community voices to the table by being visible, approachable, and responsive to every resident: parents, seniors, and all taxpayers, ensuring our schools truly serve the entire town.
